Rules/Regulations

1. Tournament Format

The Bass 4 Cash Classic is a 100% CPR (Catch, Photo, Release) tournament.

All fish must be weighed, photographed, and submitted through the official tournament app provided prior to the event.

• Anglers will submit their three (3) Best bass
• The combined weight of the best three fish determines overall placement
• The largest individual bass submitted during the event will win the Biggest Bass Prize

Example:
Angler A catches three bass measuring the equivalent of 9 lbs total.
Angler B catches one 6+ lb bass but smaller additional fish.

Angler A may win 1st place total bag, while Angler B could win Biggest Bass of the Day.

2. Eligible Species

Only the following species are eligible:

• Largemouth Bass
• Smallmouth Bass

All fish Anglers must have a Valid Ontario fishing and boating license.

3. Catch Photo Release Requirements

To submit a valid catch:

  1. The fish must be clearly visible in the photo.

  2. The measurement markings must be readable.

  3. The tournament identifier (provided in the app) must be visible in the photo.

  4. Fish must be released immediately after photo submission.

Tournament officials reserve the right to reject photos that are unclear or improperly measured.

4. Biggest Bass Prize

The largest individual bass recorded during the event will win the Biggest Bass of the Day Prize, regardless of overall placement.

6. Entry & Boat Rules

• Entry fee: $225 per boat
• Maximum 25 boats per event
• Maximum 2 anglers per boat

Once you've paid for your entry, you will receive an google forms regarding the registration and waiver.

7. Fishing Hours

Official time: 8am-4pm Both events.

suggest showing up a little early to launch and get ready. Takeoff at 8am. winners announced around 4:30-5pm

• No fishing before official launch
• All fish must be submitted before the official cutoff time

Late submissions will not count.

8. Permitted Fishing Methods

• Only artificial lures may be used
No live bait permitted
• Each angler may fish with one rod at a time

All fishing must follow local provincial fishing regulations.

9. Sportsmanship

All anglers are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner.

Unsportsmanlike behavior may result in penalties or disqualification, including:

• Interfering with another competitor
• Falsifying catches
• Harassing anglers or tournament staff
• Violating conservation practices

10. Safety

• All participants must follow local boating laws
• Boats must operate in a safe and responsible manner

Participants compete at their own risk.

11. Boundaries

Anglers must fish within legal public waters of the designated lake.

Fishing in restricted, private, or closed areas will result in disqualification.

14. Conservation

The Bass 4 Cash Classic is designed to protect fisheries and promote responsible angling.

All fish must be handled carefully and released immediately after measurement and photo.

15. Acceptance of Rules

By entering the Bass 4 Cash Classic, participants agree to follow all rules and regulations listed above.

Failure to comply may result in penalties or disqualification.
